Clare and Vince have lived in Waterhouses since 1981 and moved to Breech House in 2010, having completed a huge renovation project on this classic stone built house that had lain derelict for 18 years. Waterfall village is a Conservation Area within the Peak District National Park.

We have retained the original character of the building whilst making it sustainable, with high performance insulation, a ground source heat pump, underfloor heating and wind turbine. We have gradually restored the farm buildings and land for our smallholding. We started offering traditional bed and breakfast in 2022, with luxury accommodation for just one couple or a single person.
